Archivo Proyecto Bruzzone is a research initiative by Flor Clérico, developed within the framework of studies at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola. It focuses on the collection amassed by Gustavo Bruzzone (Buenos Aires, 1958), a renowned art collector, judge, and prominent figure in the Buenos Aires contemporary art scene. Between 1995 and 2000, Bruzzone documented a wide range of events in Hi8 format, including openings, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, conversations, and parties. In other words, these archives capture the artistic scene of the 1990s from the collector's perspective. From 2019 to 2023, various initiatives were undertaken as part of the Research Department at the Universidad de Cine (UCINE) in Buenos Aires. A comprehensive cataloging of the material was completed, encompassing a total of 450 hours of footage, with support from the 2deo department at Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary Culture located in San Sebastián. The Foundation Santander of Buenos Aires sponsored two exhibitions: the first, 'The Bruzzone Archive: 1st Episode', took place in December 2022 at the artists' workshop of Lolo and Lauti; while the second, titled 'Bruzzone Archive 1995-1999: It Was the Nineties and We Didn't Realize', curated by Lolo and Lauti, was held in September 2023 at ArteBA, the Buenos Aires art fair.
